Nipawhat?

Nipawin is gaining a reputation as one of Saskatchewan's newest resort area hot-spots. This community of just over 5100 people has all the services and facilities of larger centres and small-town lakeside charm. It is situated on the river section of Tobin Lake, 2 km downstream from Codette Lake. This gives Nipawin a unique position to having both the comforts and services of a larger center with the outdoor experiences of Saskatchewan's near north.

Why come to Nipawin?

This resort community nestled between the twin lakes (Tobin Lake and Codette Lake) features world class angling, championship golf and unforgettable experiences. The Provincial Walleye Record has been broken on Tobin Lake five times consecutively.

For the golf enthusiast the Evergreen Golf Club is a beautifully landscaped 18-hole par 72 course that boasts lush fairways and manicured greens amidst a forest of northern spruce and pine. Previously rated as one of the top 100 public courses in Canada and currently rated as a top 5 course in Saskatchewan, the Evergreen Golf Club offers challenge and fun for the amateur or experienced golfer.

For the winter vacationer we are located on the Trans-Canada Snowmobile Trail along with hundreds of kilometers of groomed and marked riding trails. There are excellent cross country ski trails, and great prairie downhill skiing at Wapiti Valley.

Premium camping is available at the Nipawin Regional Park, hosting 130 serviced sites. Over 300 serviced camping and RV sites are available all around the Codette and Tobin Lake area. If you're looking for a getaway, but don't want to leave the comforts of home, Nipawin has many excellent hotels with a variety of rooms available.
