The Nipawin area is serviced by three feature regional parks:
Nipawin and District Regional Park
Located in the northwest corner of Nipawin on Highway 55, this is one of the few truly four-season regional parks. Over 300 acres in size, the park never closes as modern cabins can be rented for winter use. The access road is paved right up to the park gates and the route is well marked. Park admission waived with an annual sticker.
The Nipawin Regional Park offers fully serviced campsites, a petting zoo, playground, ball diamonds, nature trails, boat launch onto the river portion of Tobin Lake, boat rentals, dining, and one of the top 100 golf courses in Canada. If you're going to be in Nipawin, the Nipawin Regional Park is a must-see attraction.
Wapiti Valley Regional Park
With a perfect location on the banks of Codette Lake, Wapiti Valley has something for any visitor in any season. Wapiti Valley has been made famous in the North-East for its ski hill, which covers 25 acres and has 8 slopes that range from forgiving to challenging. A new quad chairlift has made skiing at Wapiti an even more enjoyable and relaxing experience.
Wapiti's summer services have been enhanced with 2 boat launches, 10 serviced campsites, and 3 new rental cabins. The cottage sub-division has 14 units, and is growing every year. Wapiti offers excellent year round recreation opportunities.
Pasquia Regional Park
Located 10 km between Carrot River and Arborfield on Highway 23, Pasquia’s golf course is a major attraction for avid golfers. Set in the hills and valley surrounding the Carrot River as its winds along, the park has a great deal to offer the golfing family.
Off the fairway, Pasquia offers 79 campsites, large gathering facilities, a pool, modern bathrooms, and access to the river.
