We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2008 Premier's Cup on Tobin Lake. 2008 winners were Bob and Dallas Kirkpatrick, their second consecutive win. Bob Kirkpatrick has made 21 appearances at the Premier's Cup.
The Saskatchewan Premier's Walleye Cup, held annually on Tobin Lake, is one of this province's flagship fishing tournaments and one of the largest walleye events in Canada. Tobin Lake and the Town of Nipawin have earned a reputation as one of the best sites in North America for great fishing and fishing tournaments. The Premier's Walleye Cup is a two day, live release tournament, with proceeds going back to the preservation of the lake resources and development of the lake facilities.

The tournament is team based, with a maximum entry limit of 160 teams. Cash and prizes total over $85,000.

Entry fee is $290 Cdn. plus $15 Cdn. for additional banquet tickets.
The optional Bonus Tournamant fee will be $ 1000.00, of which $290.00 will pay for the regular entry fee and $ 710.00 will go totally for the Bonus Payout Prizes. The Total Bonus Payout is $ 56,800.00, based on 80 teams.
