We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2007 Premier's Cup on Tobin Lake. Last year's winners were Bob and Dallas Kirkpatrick, true veterans of the Premier's Cup. Bob Kirkpatrick won last year in his 20th consecutive appearance at the Premier's Cup.

The Saskatchewan Premier's Walleye Cup, held annually on Tobin Lake, is one of this province's flagship fishing tournaments and one of the largest walleye events in Canada. Tobin Lake and the Town of Nipawin have earned a reputation as one of the best sites in North America for great fishing and fishing tournaments. The Premier's Walleye Cup is a two day, live release tournament, with proceeds going back to the preservation of the lake resources and development of the lake facilities.
Nipawin & District Regional Park is the host base for the tournament weigh station.
This year's Registration and Banquet will be taking place on August 7, 2008. Registration starts at 4:00PM at the Evergreen Centre and the Banquet commences at 6:00PM, also at the Evergreen Centre. We are honored to host Premier Brad Wall at this year's banquet.
The ever-popular Premier's Walleye Cup Boat Parade will also be taking place on August 7, 2008. Line up at Pineland Co-op Marketplace on Hwy 35 at 2:00PM four our Downtown Parade to qualify for prizes. Parade leaves at 3:00PM.

The tournament is team based, with a maximum entry limit of 160 teams. Cash and prizes total over $25,000.

Entry Fee

Entry fee is $290 Cdn. plus $15 Cdn. for additional banquet tickets.
The optional Bonus Tournamant fee will be $ 1000.00, of which $290.00 will pay for the regular entry fee and $ 710.00 will go totally for the Bonus Payout Prizes. The Total Bonus Payout is $ 58,000.00, based on 80 teams.
