The Saskatchewan Premier's Walleye Cup, held annually on Tobin Lake, is one of this province's flagship fishing tournaments and one of the largest walleye events in Canada. Tobin Lake and the Town of Nipawin have earned a reputation as one of the best sites in North America for great fishing and fishing tournaments. The Premier's Walleye Cup is a two day, live release tournament, with proceeds going back to the preservation of the lake resources and development of the lake facilities.
The Premier's Cup will kick off on August 5th with the Premier's Cup Boat Parade on main street, where the year's competitors will have an opportunity to show off their boats. Each year prizes are awarded for the best boats, and competitors are encouraged to decorate and, literally, "showboat". The high caliber of competitors and equipment in the Premier's Cup have made this parade a popular local event.
Registration for the tournament begins at 4:00 PM at the Evergreen Centre, followed by the rules banquet at 6:00 PM. All competitors are required to both register and attend the banquet.
Listed here are the forms, rules, cash prizes, special prizes, entry fee, and brochure for the 2010 23rd Annual Premier's Cup.
