News Release - Nipawin Council Creates North-East Health Services Committee Tuesday, January 26, 2010 - The provision of services in health care is a top priority of the Town of Nipawin Council and at the Regular Council Meeting held January 25, 2010, they took concrete steps towards finalizing a regional committee to coordinate the delivery of health services for the area serviced by the Nipawin Hospital. Public Notice - Operation of Snowmobiles within the Town of Nipawin Thursday, December 24, 2009 - Snowmobilers are reminded that the operation of a snowmobile is allowed within town limits but only for the purpose of entering and exiting the Town by the most direct route. Please utilize the “Snowmobile By-Pass Route”. Also, a number of streets are prohibited to snowmobiles as well as public properties such as Central Park, the Hospital Grounds, and parks and playgrounds which include walking trails. Public Notice - Snow Removal Friday, December 18, 2009 - In order for the Town to properly remove snow from the streets following a major snowstorm, residents and businesses are asked to remove all vehicles as soon as possible from streets so as not to interfere with equipment. Nipawin Walking Programs Monday, November 23, 2009 - Indoor walking is available in two locations this winter. LP Miller School lower hallway is open to walkers Monday to Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the main floor hallways. For more information contact Dan Poulin at 862-9866. The Evergreen Centre Auditorium Walking Program is available from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday to Sundays. In addition, Kelsey Trail Health Region will be providing an Exercise Therapist on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. during the Evergreen Walking Program to offer a resistance training section using weights and dynabands. Build in New Coventry Crescent Subdivision - Pay No Property Taxes for Three Full Years
In preparation for growth and future subdivision expansion, the Town of Nipawin is clearing out our inventory of new lots in the Coventry Subdivision. The Town of Nipawin will cancel all property taxes for land and improvements for three years (3) years to purchasers of residential property in Phase I, II, and III of the Coventry
