The Nipawin Living Forestry Museum has been collecting and preserving the history of the Nipawin area since 1967 and invites
you to come and share their collection of artifacts. The Living Forestry Museum is committed to preserving the history of the
community for the community, and is maintained by the donations of time and resources of the community. The museum is home to numerous displays, including household artifacts, vintage vehicles, fully-functional steam-powered saw and shingle mills, functional vintate tractors, restored historic houses, and more. These displays are housed on the museum grounds on fully accessible walking trails. The Museum hosts a Canada Day celebration each year on July 1st. The festivities include live music; demonstrations of all functional museum displays including the sawmill, shinglemill, and tractors; food booths; and homemade bread from the museum's authentic clay ovens.
