Evergreen Golf - Tournaments

The Evergreen. Set amidst the mature Jackpine trees in East Central Saskatchewan, the Evergreen is an 18 hole Championship Golf Course. Consistently ranked among the top in the Province, we would welcome the opportunity to host your event. The following is an introduction to our area and also includes what we can do for you. Please take the time to consider what we offer, as we would be more than happy to host your group at the “hidden gem”.

The Course
The Evergreen Golf Course is an 18 hole Championship golf course which boasts the top greens in the province. Bent grass greens well undulated make each putt worth a second look. Three sets of tee boxes on each hole will satisfy every skill level of golfer. The serene setting of the golf course can make a golfer feel alone on the course as the trees surround each hole.
Our fleet of fifty power carts can accommodate up to 100 golfers.
Evergreen Golf Course also has a dress code and is a soft spike facility.

The Pro Shop
The Evergreen Pro Shop is a well displayed and functional shop. Our Head Professional and his staff set the bar for all our events. With a wide array of merchandise for all ages and genders, we have the right prize or souvenir for everyone. Club rentals, pull carts and a driving range are also available at the Pro Shop.

The Evergreen Centre
Need catering? The Evergreen Centre offers many combinations of meals to go with your event. With an auditorium, curling surface, and the beautiful Jackpine room, they can host any number of players. Meeting rooms are also available should your event be of the corporate nature. The Lounge in the Evergreen and the patio overlooking the first hole are inviting to those players who would just like a quiet meal or cocktail after the round.

The Town
Although the town of Nipawin is small, there are many amenities it offers. Tobin Lake or the Saskatchewan River has some of Canada’s finest fishing with Provincial records being set each summer. Elk or Bison farm tours, houseboats and boat rentals are available should you want a relaxing afternoon or morning.
There are also a wide variety of hotels, motels and cabin accommodations for small or large groups depending on if you want a “rustic” holiday or one of the modern hotels.

The Park
Located approximately 2 km from the Town, the Nipawin & District Regional Park is a true outdoors getaway. With over 100 serviced camping spots, children’s playground, camp kitchens, mini golf and marina. The Park will be a great place to stay with the family. While the tournament golf is being played the family can take in one of the many activities at the Park.

Golf tournaments are not easy to organize. Our Professional Staff can help you along the way. From the first day you book your event until the day arrives, we are available for any ideas or tips for the organizer. A complete Tournament Package is waiting for you that will guide you through the process to make your event a great success.
