Nipawin's school system is a full curriculum system with almost all options available for students. Our comprehensive hight school offers a wide variety of academic and practical courses wherein students can take part in numerous events and extra-curricular activities available. Our elementary schools offer the benefits of smaller classes and a more comfortable setting yet are not lacking in technology and other services available to larger schools.
Busy Bee Pre-School
Busy Bee Preschool is a non-profit co-operative association of parents whose goal is to provide preschool education opportunities of high standard for 3 and 4 year olds. Busy Bee brings out the best in your child by providing the ability to practice school-related skill through creativity and learining through experience. Classes run every year from the beginning of September until the end of May at 306 1st Street West (the old dance studio) in Nipawin. Students attend class Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 - 12:00; if enrollment numbers require, we are able to run an additional class on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Children must be 3 years of age and potty trained to attend; if children turn 3 during the school year, he/she can enroll at that time.

Little Achievers Pre-School
Little Achievers Pre-school is licensed by the Early years branch of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and are approved to accept Pre-School aged children between the ages of 2.5years-5 years. We offer FULL DAY Childcare and follow a pre-school age appropriate curriculum that allows for growth and development of all developmental areas to ensure Kindergarten readiness.
We understand the importance of the Early Years. This is a time of remarkable growth where children are experiencing rapid development, learning new skills & progressing steadily towards physical, intellectual & social emotional milestones. Our Achievers Ready for School program is filled with investigation & exploration, where children can refine & expand their skills & knowledge.

The licensed Nipawin Day Care Centre on 9th Avenue West provides care for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. There are forty-one spots available with a few spaces for special needs. Subsidy is available with the day care. The trained staff provided a caring environment with snacks, meals and activities.
Hours of operation are from 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m..
Central Park Learning Centre Day Care is the second day care under the Nipawin Day Care Co-operative. Meals, snack, and activities are provided for the same prices as the 9th Avenue West location. There are 14 spaces including some "special needs" spaces. Children from ages 6 weeks to 6 years are cared for by a trained staff under the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Open Door Playcare is a Licensed Day Care facility that has space for 36 children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
Our mission is to provide safe, affordable, high quality childcare for the community. In doing so, we provide children with opportunities to learn and grow by exploring their interests through play. We are commited to our families that we serve, fostering respectful and caring relationships with children, parents and staff. We believe that children learn best through play and playing is not separated from learning. At Open Door Playcare each child is viewed as a unique individual and experiences are developed to enhance and enrich the development of our children.

KidsFirst is a voluntary program that helps families build on their strengths and have the healthiest children possible. Help and assistance are provided to address each family's unique needs. KidsFirst enhances parenting knowledge, provides support, and builds on family strengths. The program is designed to enhance existing programs already in our community.
KidsFirst addresses the barrier of transportation and provides early learning opportunities for children and parents. Our program is culturally responsive and appropriate and offers services in non-traditional ways through outreach and home visiting.

"Located on the south edge of Nipawin, NBC offers various courses with a core focus on biblical instruction in a great community and relational setting. They seek to disciple and grow students through various opportunities and ministry settings, providing a good foundation for a life of living out one's faith. Classes run from September to April with an average student body of sixty students. NBC attracts students from across the three prairie provinces each year and has a strong Alumni support base dating back to its beginnings in 1934."
