Torch River Rail - July 25, 2008
Torch River Rail has officially opened for business. Torch River Rail is a locally owned and opperated short-line railway serving the Nipawin, Choiceland, Whitefox and Love area, providing agricultural and industrial transport throughout North America through a partnership with CP Rail. Torch River Rail is the result of seven years of work and investment by local area farmers to purchas and re-open the formerly closed Choiceland-Nipawin rail line. The Town of Nipawin would like to congratulate Torch River Rail on their successful opening, and look forward to their future successes providing much needed transport options to Nipawin area industry and producers. |
