Codette Lake

Codette Lake is located on the south side of the Francois Finlay Dam on the Saskatchewan River. It is known for excellent fishing, superb watersports, swimming, and all sorts of recreational activities. Slightly less travelled than Tobin Lake, Codette lake is the perfect choice for the fisherman who wants to get away from the crowds yet still would like to remain close to all the amenities.

Smits' Beach is the main accommodation on Codette lake and also remains a popular spot for locals, hosting events and a concert throughout the summer. At the other end of the lake, the Wapiti Valley Regional Park operates a boat launch and provides modern services including fish filleting.
