Cruisin' to the Pines Show n Shine

Each summer for one evening, Nipawin becomes the car capital of the North-East. Cruisin' to the Pines, Nipawin's annual show and shine is quickly becoming one of Nipawin's most popular summer events. This joint venture of the Total Chaos Car Club and the Town of Nipawin Economic Development and Tourism Department brings out the best cars in the region, and has been growing in popularity and turnout every year.

2005 marked the fourth annual Cruisin' to the Pines Show 'n Shine. This year's show was the most exciting yet, with 42 regular entries and 12 special entry displays. Highlighting this year's show were two Formula One cars. Also included in the special display vehicles were a number of restored classic snowmobiles. However, the main attraction was, as always, the classic cars of Nipawin residents and visitors brought to town for the show. 200 block of Centre Street was filled with cars and car lovers. Awards were given for People's choice, Competitor's choice, and Best In Show, which was decided by the overall winner of in people's and competitor's choice.
