If you plan on coming to Nipawin, make sure you give yourself the chance to see everything that our town has to offer. Nipawin has been made famous for its fishing and golf, but Nipawin's attractions do not stop there. Nipawin offers a wide variety of outdoor experiences and there are always events going on in Nipawin and the area.

The Nipawin & District Regional Park offers recreation options ranging from camping to minigolf. The park offers excellent family entertainment, modern and well maintained facilities, access to Tobin Lake and a wide selection of services from boat rentals to licenced dining. Come see why the Nipawin & District Regional Park is a local and visitor favourite.

Nipawin is a community that takes pride in its appearance. To further enhance the beauty of our community, Nipawin has commissioned a series of murals to decorate the town. These murals provide a glimpse into the history of the Nipawin area, and any traveler who is interested in the history of the north east should not pass by these wonderful works of art.

Also for the history enthusiast, the Nipawin and District Living Forestry Museum is a must see. Nipawin's museum is a comprehensive exhibit of life in the north-east from the early days of settlement in the region. The museum grounds contain houses and other historic buildings that were donated to the museum, and a working steam-powered sawmill.

One of the defining structures of the Nipawin Area is the Francois Finlay Dam and Hydro-Electric Station. This station is one of the key electricity production facilities for Saskatchewan, and is open for tours or visible from Vista Point.
