Apart from fishing, the park is full of recreation opportunities year-round. Picnicking facilities include individual sites, camp kitchens for large groups, fire rings, picnic tables and barbecues. A well-equipped playground and barnyard zoo are on-site to entertain the kids and numerous hiking trails weave their ways through the forest. The park also has a challenging 18-hole minigolf course near the park enterance.
During the winter, cross-country skiing trails and a tobogganing hill highlight the park. Access is also available to miles of excellent, groomed snowmobile trails.
