2020 Municipal Election

The 2020 Municipal Election is coming up on Monday, November 9, 2020. Becoming a member of Council is a challenging and rewarding experience.  Elected officials have the opportunity to influence the future of Nipawin.  You are there to represent the residents of the community and their best interests and to make informed decisions that will benefit the Town now and into the future.

Mail-in Voting:  If you wish to take advantage of the mail-in voting option, please complete the Mail-in Ballot Request Form below and return it to the Town Office prior to October 26, 2020.  Please note, this form must be signed by an election official (at the Town Office), or by a Notary Public, Commissioner for Oaths or a Lawyer.

Call for Nominations for General Election:  Tuesday, September 22, 2020

Nomination Day:  Wednesday, October 7, 2020 (until 4:00 p.m.)

Nomination Withdrawal Deadline:  October 8, 2020 (4:00 p.m.)

Special Poll (Pineview Lodge Residents):  November 5, 2020 9:00 a.m.

Advance Poll (Town Office): November 4, 2020 - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

ELECTION DAY:  November 9, 2020 (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

Announcement of Election Results:  November 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
